In light of Mayor Ken Sim’s back-to-back announcements that AC would no longer approve BC Housing projects and that he will use city-owned lands to build for-profit towers with taxpayer money instead, let’s take a look at the 2022 ABC campaign platform: #VanPoli #BCHousing 👇👇👇

It’s a good time to remind ourselves that the use of artificial bovine growth hormone by dairy farmers was banned by Health Canada in 1999; US dairy farmers still use it, and that’s why US milk is not sold in Canada. #MadeInCanada dairyfarmersofcanada.ca/en/dairy-in-ca…

Maybe we should all post this picture of Angelo Isidoro, campaign manager for the BC Cons, flashing the white nationalist symbol whilst wearing his MAGA hat every day until the B.C. provincial election lest we forget who these people really are. #BCPoli #BCFarRight

I came across something very cool today: a cycling group that visits long-term care homes and takes residents for a bike ride. It’s called Cycling Without Age. Today, they were conducting trial run in the West End. #VanPoli

Horseshoe Bay’s highly innovative approach to bike lanes: install planters and picnic tables in the middle of the lane.

I am definitely not a member of the B.C. Conservatives. So how did they get my cell number and is this consistent with PIPA and the BC Elections Act? #BCPoli

About 30% of British Columbians don’t pay income tax because they don’t make enough money to meet the threshold for paying tax. But they still have to pay housing costs. They will get zero benefit from Rustad’s housing tax credit. #BCPoli #VanPoli

How are we even considering handing the reins of power in this Province over to a bunch of conspiracy theorists? #BCPoli BC Conservative Leader John Rustad Suggests Province Would Participate in ‘Nuremberg’-Style COVID-19 Trials

John Rustad is obsessed with advancing the Freedom Convoy agenda in BC. Now he’s encouraging BCers and the RCMP to disregard Federal gun control laws. This has serious implications for domestic violence against women. #BCPoli

As a former RCMP officer, I am very troubled by John Rustad's comments. These laws protect families and strengthen penalties against gun traffickers and gangs. Rustad is playing games with people's lives and the safety of our communities. #bcpoli

The B.C. Cons are more concerned about how much we pay for a paper bag than how much we pay for the groceries we put in that bag. We can avoid the cost of the bag by bringing our own, but we can’t avoid buying food. More performative tokenism. #BCPoli

Groceries are expensive enough. Rustad will eliminate the NDP’s costly bag fee—saving you money at the checkout. #BCpoli

Milk needs to be carefully protected/regulated because it is susceptible to spreading pathogens if it isn’t. These people who want to deregulate the dairy industry are nuts.

There seems to be an endless supply of truly disgusting conservatives supporters on this platform. I try to remind myself that many of them are not British Columbians and won’t be voting here. And a lot of them are members of conservative troll farms or bots. #BCPoli

Lots of interesting comments today. One thing I’ve learned is we should all be looking for the Dairy Farmers of Canada logo to ensure that we that we purchase #MadeInCanada milk that doesn’t contain artificial bovine growth hormone:
