Meet the Yang Family.
Gave away food to 400 people in Glace Bay,
Cooking with flashlights at their restaurant Jay’s Chicken & Pizza.
And their adorable daughter Katie, seemed to be the boss it all.

This group of international students and new Canadians started cooking and serving hot tea after the hurricane ripped through Sydney.
And they haven’t stopped.
They have served several thousands.

One of NS’s most photographed trees is gone after Fiona.
The big Oak tree off the highway by Shubie.
Thanks to wonderful photographer Simon D’Entremont for sending me this great photo he took.
Everyone calls it “their tree”
Just want to say what a lucky reporter I am to be covering this story with this team.
I certainly know what they mean to all of Canada-but we are East Coast proud of them.
And their thoughtful answers, win or lose were so appreciated!
So thanks @TeamGushue#cbccurl
When I was 16 playing high school curling,
I loved how this guy threw a rock...
At 24, Scott gave me a rock and we got married and have lived happily ever after!
Today is our 40th anniversary & he's been solid as a rock and my biggest supporter!
Here's to more adventures! ❤️
Spent time with @GurdeepPandher
He is on an awesome cross 🇨🇦 road trip in his van.
It’s called Gurdeep’s Joy, hope and positivity tour.
Spreading positivity through the joy of Bahngra dancing!
That’s a wrap for me at the Ice Cube!
My dreams of being at the Olympics happened-not as a curler but as a reporter for @CBCOlympics
Which is an awesome road to take.
Sometimes the road not taken, leads to an even better road.

An emotional Ryan Harnden on playing brother EJ for the Brier crown.
There will be a Harnden winning the Brier-but not together.
Brotherly love is strong.
This is just the best!
It adds another memory to such a memorable Gushue Brier.
And when they yelled at the end “We did it for you Mark!”
How could you not cry?
