- Troponin elevation is commonly observed after strenuous exercise. Despite significant elevation post marathon (TnI 80-2000ng/L) this study found cardiomyocyte necrosis (detected with cfDNA) was very rare, suggesting troponin is released without cell death. cell.com/cell-reports-m…
