It was 25 years ago on this day. The clock is still ticking.

Elastos — Web3 is happening!
Joined August 2011
- Replying to @zarkadakis @RANDCorporation and 3 othersmsn.com/en-us/money/ot… To empower individuals on a peer to peer Web, I truly believe that Personal Cloud Compute (PC2) is the way to go. Wuying by Alibaba, as an example of PC2, looks very promising. The paradigm shift is to remove Web servers from the client/server model.
- Here’s my recollection of history: ENIAC — 1st computer; IBM 360 — Batch programs; Cray X-MP — 1st Web server; The Web — www, mobile/social. Bitcoin — 1st blockchain computer; Ethereum — Consensus batch programming machine; Dfinity — Decentralized cloud server; Elastos — Web3.
- #Elastos has a 3-tier architecture— ✨#Web3 Infrastructures: blockchains, #CyberRepublic DAO, P2P networks, content addressable storages... ✨#Smartweb OS: Programming API, Essential libraries, DID... ✨Mobile dApp Ecosystems: serverless, domain specific consensus backends...
- #CyberRepublic #DAO has been registered in Delaware. Governance decisions are executed on #Elastos blockchains. Communities debate their concerns on #Discord. @Web3Essentials now supports one-person-one-vote. Could Gen Z push governments, nonprofits, Uber-likes toward #DAO?
- 3 OS’s, Windows, Linux and MacOS, for the (www) Web1.0 era. 2 OS’s for the (mobile/social) Web2.0 era, i.e., Android and iOS. Guess how many OS(s) for the Web3.0 will survive, in my opinion? If core teams don’t believe in we have fair a chance, we wouldn’t be here & fighting!
- Replying to @crypto_thai#Web3, but real Web3 not some blockchain project! you cant stream music and play games on a blockchain #Elastos @ElastosInfo
- Replying to @ElastosInfo and @Elastos_org1993 once again. The only difference this time around is that it’s an internet of code instead of internet of data.
- You can’t expect people to understand why #OwnYourData requires a personal vault (for data save keeping). When #Web3 users login @Web3Essentials using #Elastos DID, their private data storage is right there, ready to use, just like people use their PC.
