British voters are a sophisticated bunch.
In Makerfield people voted decisively for the person who could get rid of the PM the quickest.
In Aberdeen they sent a strong message to both the SNP about the Union and the government about their daft anti-drilling stance.

- Getting the feeling that European teams are struggling in this first round of games in the @FIFAWorldCup Not sure if it nerves, complacency or luck - but nearly all have looked ordinary & under-performed tactically. I’m kind of pleased we (England) have Croatia in our opener.
- Best player on the pitch today in the Spain v Cape Verde game. Congratulations to Vozinha. @FIFAWorldCup
- What a brilliant and well deserved result for Cape Verde.
- Huge respect to Japan and its fans. Do the team still clean the dressing room like they use to?
00:00 - Chris Heaton-Harris repostedI assume the claim of £90 billion a year in lost tax revenues is based on the NBER's upper estimate of an 8% hit to UK GDP. Which nobody - including the authors of the NBER paper - actually believes... 🤔The Brexit mess left by Nigel Farage and the Conservatives is costing us £90bn a year, money that could have been spent on defence and tackling the cost of living. They wrecked it. We'll fix it.
00:00 - Chris Heaton-Harris repostedOur Armed Forces cannot defend Britain on empty promises and delayed plans. Keir Starmer’s Defence Ministers resigned as his plan falls short. Their warnings are extremely serious. I’ve written to the PM offering the support of my MPs to vote to cut welfare to fund defence.
- Class! Well done @bostonpoliceCommunity policing looks a bit different when the @FIFAWorldCup is in town! Our officers celebrated alongside fans, both international and local, during Day 1 of @FWC26Boston Fan Fest on City Hall Plaza!
00:00 - Controversial opinion from a ref for 40+ years. New law interpretations worked well in the first game in this World Cup. Bar hydration and VAR, very little time added on. And the 3 red cards were 3 red cards. Ref Wilton Sampaio well & “Ref-cam” is superb.
