- If a mining giant had proposed blowing up Stonehenge which is just 5000 years old there would be global outage but blowing up a 46,000-year-old Aboriginal site is business as usual. This is the reality of white supremacy in action.
- Folks rightly getting angry about Tanzanian security forces using live ammunition to force 1000s of indigenous Maasai people off their land in name of ‘western’ conservation - are in for a shock.
- lots of enviros saying ‘no place is safe’ in face of floods in Europe. It’s true no place is safe from climate violence but white folks are way safer than those in India, Uganda & global South who are denied resources. That’s reality of climate injustice.
- Taxi drivers attacked, Mosques targeted, & now frightened passengers on a bus. The casual & respectable Islamophobia & anti-migrant racism from Tory, Labour & Reform politicians - amplified & normalised by Musk & BBC has allowed fascism to grow.
- We are the many, you are the few! From Cable Street in 1930s to Brick Lane in 90’s & once again all over the country - it’s been the working class - black, brown & white - that have stood against the fascists - even when our media & politicians were backing hatred. #Walthamstow

- Media offensive against ‘woke’ politics is a rehash of 1980s right wing media/Tory attack describing as ‘loony left’ ‘anti-racism, gay rights, disabled rights & feminism’. It has always been a political strategy to undermine progressive politics & its debate on structural issues.
- So the worlds biggest biggest machine capturing carbon from air is the equivalent of taking 800 cars off the road, but as it’s actually selling offsets to allow companies to continue to pollute - no real reduction in emissions will take place.
