    1/ The *last* thing we need right now is more untested speculation about how to fix social media. We have *research* that can help us evaluate @elonmusk’s proposals to transform Twitter, and many of these studies might inspire him to throw some cold water on his plans 🧵

    VERY exciting news from @twitter today: 1) academics can now apply for access to the full historical archive of tweets; 2) we can now collect far more tweets each month than in the past; 3) better ways of tracking conversations and filtering tweets...and many other goodies!
