    To be clear, your firefighters are still working hard on the wildfires in Clackamas County. They are taking a “Tactical Pause” to allow firefighters to reposition get accountability & evaluate extreme fire conditions. We haven’t abandoned you & working hard to keep you safe.

    Capt. Sam McCullough gave a big surprise to his 9-yr-old son last night (Sept. 13) after being away for a week fighting the #ClackamasWildfires. Back for one night & today (Sept. 14) he's in the field. @ClackCoSheriff @clackamascounty

    The fire on Elk Rock Island is contained and crews are starting the long process of mopping up hotspots. This image is what first arriving crews found when they arrived. No evacuations will be needed at this point.

    Your firefighters are home! For the past 2 weeks, they were part of 21 strike teams & 370 firefighters from Oregon sent by @OSFM to help protect communities in SoCal. They'll get some R&R, & rigs will be cleaned/checked over to be placed back in service. Thanks for all the ❤️!

    The fire at Timberline Lodge was declared under control at 11:12 p.m. The fire was kept to the roof & part of the attic, & didn’t spread any further. Crews are clearing the scene. The U.S. Forest Service will be conducting the investigation with the help of federal resources.

    With heavy hearts we share the passing of Clackamas County AMR dispatcher Matt Brown. Last night, he took his final breath after a courageous battle with COVID-19. We work side-by-side with our partners at AMR & express our condolences for their loss. @AMR_Social

    When called to aid Estacada in last nights MacIver fire, Clackamas fire came in force! With 42 fire apparatus and command support vehicles staffed with 87 personnel from the clackamasfire family which included wildland crew 30! we are honored to serve our communities! #HereForYou

    On 8/21, #firefighters from E307 in Happy Valley rescued an 11-yo Irish Wolfhound that slid down a 10’ embankment. “Sadie" is fighting cancer & the rain from the night before made the hill too slippery to get back up herself. She was brought up the hill & reunited w/her owner.
