- There were still ONE MILLION paying customers for the DVD-to-home mail order service. But apparently the money from that is the wrong kind of money, just like too many ticket sales from theatrical releases is somehow the wrong kind of money. It makes NO SENSE to me.25 years ago, Beetlejuice was the first DVD ever rented from Netflix! Today, True Grit (2010) was the final DVD ever rented from Netflix.
