    Cuando escucho a SUMO me vuela la cabeza pensar que un chico italiano con madre escocesa, educado en una de las escuelas más elite de UK vino a Argentina y inspirado por el post punk británico armó una banda en dictadura cantando canciones en inglés en boliches under de Bs As.

    El idioma se actualiza constantemente con el uso diario. En un punto el castellano de mi mamá quedó hermosamente congelado en los 70s ya que vive en UK hace más de 40 años. Entre otras cosas dice fangote, tarupido, fifi, que plato! que pito toca? estar fulo, macanudo, chinchudo.

    In Argentina people put bottles on the roof of their car to publicise that it’s for sale, often with a contact number scribbled on the side, or a sign pinned up in the window. In the digital age we live in I love that this tradition is still alive and kicking.

    Me piden recomendaciones de donde comer bien y barato en Bs As. Acá va mi top 10: El Español - Rincón 196. El menú fijo es la que va. Con sopa (a la vieja usanza) y plato del día. Amo la entraña/albondigas, con puré, el mejor que probé! Agregando postre sale 900 pesos y pico.

    I’ve lived in Buenos Aires for 13 years now yet still fall victim to the loose paving stones, which float on a pool of dirty water which splashes up to your knees if you tread on them.
