I’m sure this won’t go well with some people but the US model of basketball is broken in regards to youth skill development and focus on rankings. Possible 3 best players in world (Giannis, Jokic and Luka) probably could have cared less about rankings or even known there were

Transfer portal is booming. Many players who had freedom and opportunity at the right level are going to make a huge mistake unfortunately.

After weekend coaching sons 6/7th grade aau team I’m even more in the belief that skills need to be developed and concepts taught.Too much zone and win at all costs. What does it matter to win a youth tourney but when get to HS can’t shoot pass dribble understand spacing guard etc

Young HS kids. Watch the college game and what is missing way too often. It’s the ability to shoot. Lock yourself in a gym and rep that jumper out until you’re the best shooter you can possibly be. Too many players can’t shoot and limit their careers because of it.

Let’s go!! I’ve got good company I guess w Luka Doncic.
Per @ESPNStatsInfo, Luka Doncic is the second player in the last 25 seasons to make multiple go-ahead 3s in the final 20 seconds. You'll never guess the other guy. (It's Dan Dickau.)

I was on Blazer staff that put Damian Lillard through his “legendary” predraft workout and coached him in summer league. I saw a player at a young age who was comfortable with who they were, humble enough to listen and be coached, hungry to improve #1

GU didn’t win but I couldn’t be more proud of the program and season. 31-1. Nothing to be ashamed of. Thx fellas.

Disgustingly bad call for a 4th on a teams best player at this moment and this stage. Nba officials would’ve known that didn’t provide any advantage and it would have been play on. College officiating needs help

Lots of names being floated for Arizona. I don’t think anyone besides Damon Stoudamire should get the job. His basketball iq and passion are off charts. The job he’s done with Pacific has proved it.

My sons HS team plays in state tourney this week as 1 seed. My wife (who won a state title in Washington 1998) and I were talking to him about the tournament and she showed him her ring. He looksat me and says “dad where is yours?” 🤔🤷‍♂️😤. Knowing full well I never won one.

Maybe these middle of the road teams in "power conferences" aren't that good and the leagues protect themselves especially after expanding league play. I love the NCAA tourney and the drama!

I have an honest question and I’m sure may get some push back. But... why do all kids and some trainers have to post their workouts? That’s the time to truly “grind” and not worry about a camera getting the right angle.
