Oh I'll absolutely stand in solidarity here, I assume MM and every other wallet is next. I'm ready to dump the Apple ecosystem. The 30% tax is an abuse of monopoly. @tim_cook has donned the Big Brother screen.
You might have noticed you can't send NFTs on Coinbase Wallet iOS anymore. This is because Apple blocked our last app release until we disabled the feature. 🧵

If we measured all that shoe handling time, I wonder how many lifetimes he wasted. Seems plausible it might’ve been one of the most economically efficient acts of terrorism ever.

Some people taking the tornado cash situation as an opportunity to go max paranoia and throw baseless accusations in every direction. MetaMask is not adding KYC, and have received no legal pressure to do so. You can add custom data providers of your own. Our metrics are opt in.

Starting a thread of reasons you might want financial privacy. - You're buying birth control and are afraid it might become illegal at a later date. - You're paying dues at a religious institution that may be the target of hate.

The narrative of “I need to get rich (at others’ expense) so I can do effective altruism” was never a decentralized vision. It’s a completely self centered view of impact. You have to believe that nobody knows what they need like you.

I think we can get this fixed soon. We are not using IP addresses even if they are being temporarily stored, which they don't need to be, as we're not using them for anything.

Dear LooksRare, We're excited to bring EIP-712 signing for Trezor to MetaMask. We have a community-authored PR that gets us nearly there, and it's currently in progress, and we'll get it in production soon after it's passing review.

Hi Moxie, a MetaMask founder here. I found your post thought provoking, and thought it deserved some consideration. I've written a few of my thoughts here:

Sorry LooksRare, as you can see on the PR I linked you to, we did not have the bandwidth to get it merged last week. You may have noticed it was a very eventful week for us. I would expect it to get merged this week, and then start rolling out either the 14th or 24th.

I've just published a blog post on the recent wave of "Airdrop Scams", a type of crypto scam that preys on apps that optimistically auto-detect tokens. Know the source of your information, and don't trust strange tokens!

Our goal is to have as little data possible. Our current guess is we have less than many wallets, but it's still there which is why we disclosed it to make it clear to our users, including how they could try to better protect their privacy. Use a VPN. Use Tor.

MetaMask 1559 rollout status: - Android is at 10% of users, is rolling up as it looks good. - iOS is at 1%, will roll to 100% over the next week. - Extension will hopefully be rolling out to ~1% of users tomorrow, and will start ramping up further on Monday.
