    Two of the biggest high school basketball fans in Northwest Ohio are Dave Spengler & Dave Sigler. They created Davey1.com back in the summer of 2004 and they've been going ever since. Just two guys who love the sport and volunteer their time to keep us all informed!

    How many of you remember scenes like this at BGSU's Anderson Arena? This is March 21, 2009 as a big crowd gets ready to watch the Coldwater Cavaliers [pictured] get ready to play the Tinora Rams for a Regional Championship. The Rams won the game 60-53, advancing to Columbus.

    In 2009 the Kalida Wildcats were the State Runner-Up in Division 4 loosing to Oak Hill in overtime, 48-43 in front of 13, 582 fans at the Schottenstein Center at The Ohio State University. Kalida finished their season at 23-2.

    One of the good guys being honored at the State Tournament. Hard to imagine what it was like creating a scouting schedule, or just looking for a game to go to before @davey153 came along. Thanks for all you’ve done!

    Did you know? On Davey1.com during the 2022-2023 boys basketball season we provided the scores for 2,065 games for the regular season! That total doesn't include any of the tournament games on our sectional, district, regional and state brackets.

    Former McComb Boys Basketball Coach Aaron Roth greets players from Continental before their Regional Final at BGSU's Anderson Arena on March 18, 2011. McComb would fall in this game to the Pirates, 37-34, ruining their perfect season, finishing at 24-1.
