Dear President @realDonaldTrump, somehow I missed my invitation to your Oval Office meeting on how to “appease” the American Farmer. Since I didn’t make it here is my list of things to do immediately:

This is a video you won’t see on #FPVX. After their filmed passes they told the operators to cut the rest of the field, no speed limit. This is a 21 mph pass by Claas! And this is rank, waist high alfalfa that was rained on an hour before! #FarmProgressPartner

Weather sucks, report sucks, market sucks, but all is relative. Today we buried a 29-yr old married to a friend of my daughter. That sucks way worse. #HugYourLovedOnes

One of my favorite memories of Dad. Loading fat cattle back in 1985. We were losing money on them at the time, but he always enjoyed his cattle.

Had a close call this afternoon. Was watching TV when a pickup pulled on the yard. They spotted a fire in one of my corn fields. Hopped on the disc and got it mostly out by the time the fire department got there. Lost about an acre of corn, could have been much worse.

If the fires are due to climate change, why are there very few fires in Canada and Mexico? Maybe because they manage their forests.

2025 is going to look a little different than the past, and not in ways we wanted. 2024 was the poorest financial year we have had since I started farming. After many hours of discussion we have decided to make some drastic changes to ensure that the family farm can continue.🧵
