A Queer Hockey Fans unsolicited opinion. When a fan puts on a hockey jersey, they don’t become a hockey player, they’re saying they are part of a community, something larger than themself. They aren’t on the roster, but they are a part of the team . (1/)

The NHL clarified today that there is a league wide ban on Pride Tape by any player in games, warm-ups, or practices. It's 2023 and there's now a new "Don't Say Gay" set of rules issued by a major international sports league. I literally cannot.

New idea: If an NHL game is tied after overtime. No more shootout. Instead, one player from each team will skate a men’s short program routine. High score wins.
