And THIS is why RB is so far ahead. This floor is mental. The upper surface of the tunnels are very 3D. Some very architectural flow profiling through the mid floor and floor edge as well. Wow. 😱😱

I've seen this image floating around, and it gets clicks, but I went back and watched the onboards and here is what really happened. It's pretty clear there was no effort to try and stifle Checo, but instead a well managed job from both Race Engineers. A🧵below

This is where Max Verstappen won pole. This line through the swimming pool chicane allowed him to pull 3kph more than Alonso through here. If you look at the delta plot he makes up 0.25s as a result. Through one chicane! That’s a masterclass. #MonacoGP

MY head just exploded. So here's the deal. The updated engine cover you see is the high downforce track engine cover. Meaning Red Bull will run this at tracks where more downforce is required and lower average speeds are present. AND.... The old high shoulder gulley design
