Yeah, taproot is hard. Even bitcoin is hard. I am into bitcoin at tech level since 2013 - and developing for bitcoin (not just app/wallet level, but for rust-bitcoin, lightning and its extensions) since 2019 full-time - and still learn things which I didn’t understand before

The first place (not country!) where there will be a _real_ #Bitcoin citadel, sovereign by being outside of any human law _in practice_, will be in one of Swiss cantons - I will not disclose the name for now. But this is for the real and our current WIP.

It has taken 6 years of my life. Now it is out into the wild. The nature of client-side validation consensus is that it is kinda ossified from the day 1 when it goes to production - quite distinctively to blockchains. A lot still have to be done at the application and product

My first mainnet #Taproot 🥕 transaction done with github.com/LNP-BP/descrip… – a new pure rust 🦀 library me and ⁦@pandoracoreag⁩ have developed for ⁦@lnp_bp⁩. It supports not just Taproot, miniscript, descriptors - but also airgap, #lightning ⚡️ and #RGB-compatible

Just did a first BOLT-11 payment with LNP Node to c-Lightning node. This signifies LNP Node compatibility with lightning network, including onion payments & routing. Glad to get this before the NY. Happy NY to everyone!
