I really hate how the Lowry era in Miami played out. He deserved better as an all-time great and Heat fans never accepted him He wasn’t the savior they expected him to be, and he aged quickly in a Heat uniform

This has been building since 2010 and intensifies whenever Miami goes after any star player, from The Decision to “Butler is getting a head start on retirement.” Twitter would have melted in 1996 when David Stern ruled against Pat Riley trying to add Gary Payton and Juwan Howard

I’ve seen Miami play and I don’t think they should be overly concerned with scoring too much that it takes away from the “integrity of the game”

Bam Adebayo on importance of point differential for the In-Season Tournament: "That's the thing a lot of guys I've been seeing disagree with because if you're up 15 and you're trying to get a point differential with 40 seconds, it takes the integrity from the game."
