    Personal Update (Big changes!) As we start to wrap 2025 I wanted to share some big changes that just happened in my life. TL,DR: Pachama got acquired by Carbon Direct, I had a second child, a beautiful baby girl, We are moving the family to Argentina for some time. Pachama

    The Amazon rainforest doesn't just remove ~2 billions tons of CO2 every year. It also moves ~20 billions tons of water through evotranspiration, the so-called "flying rivers", critical for planetary balance. I wish more people knew this.

    12 years ago I arrived alone to the 🇺🇸USA, with no money, no connections and a pretty bad English. 2 years later I had raised $1M from investors and was hiring people for my startup. Happy birthday to the country of opportunities!🥳🇺🇸 May you to enact your highest values 🙏

    Few people know about this brutal deforestation technique called “correntão”, where tractors with huge chains raze the land cutting trees, destroying long standing ecosystems on a whim. If we don’t give value to nature, we’ll turn Earth into a desert 😕
