    Today marks 63 years since the tragic and untimely death of Dudley's most famous footballing son, Duncan Edwards. He was just 21. A statue and now a museum in Dudley town centre ensures his legacy will live on for future generations. A real local hero, we won't forget him ❤️

    67 years ago today one of our own lost his life as a result of injuries sustained in the Munich air disaster. Busby Babe Duncan Edwards was already an England regular when tragedy struck at the age of just 21. A statue in Dudley town centre ensures his memory lives on.

    Thank You NHS - Russell's Hall Hospital lit up as part of our spectacular fireworks and lighting display tonight to say thank you to the borough's Covid heroes. Fireworks let off at 8pm - PLEASE watch safely from your doorsteps and gardens and don't travel out - and enjoy!
