A 22 yr old Carlos Santana (B-Day) took some LSD Jerry Garcia offered him at Woodstock, Aug 1969. Carlos figured he had about 10 hrs before his band played. WRONG! 2 hrs later, Santana is told: "YOU'RE ON!" Tripping his ass off, Carlos & his band electrified the 400K+ crowd.

When my wife Cindi's lung cancer returned for the 2nd X, Stage 3, Tunch Ilkin grabbed my hand in a DVE studio, we knelt down & Tunch said a prayer for Cindi. That's the kinda guy Tunch was. Wolf, we're praying very hard for you too, pal. Please hug Tunch's family for us.

When a 22 yr old Carlos Santana (B-Day) took the stage at Woodstock Aug 1969, he was tripping his ass off on mescaline given to him by Jerry Garcia. Carlos & his unknown band weren't scheduled for another 12 hrs. He takes the acid. But then 2 hrs later, SURPRISE! "YOU'RE ON!"

Maybe The Greatest Rock Drummer Ever. RIP Neil Peart, phenomenal drummer for Rush. He lost both his daughter (car accident) & his wife (cancer) within a year of each other in the late 1990's. Neil's w/them both now, leaving us as a Cancer Warrior himself. Neil Peart 1952-2020.

I am so deeply grateful to everyone for their best wishes re: my upcoming retirement! But that was one scary picture of me that DVE posted! The caption for this picture should be: "We saw Sean. He's doing much better. We think he'll be allowed supervised visits later this year."

Next time you hear "Beat It" by Michael Jackson, the Thriller album, that's Eddie Van Halen's note for note perfection amazing guitar solo in the middle of the song! Eddie played it FOR FREE! He was never compensated, he did it as a favor to producer Quincy Jones. EVH gone at 65.
