Viewers who: - Tell streamer the music is too loud - Clip outplays or funny moments - Make memes, copypastas, fanart - Hang out in Discord or offline chat - Remind streamer of outdated commands - Sub, resub, or cheer offline - Lurk stream while playing own games You da real MVP- A small tip for new streamers: It’s not worth keeping socially inept weirdos, passive aggressive chatters, parasocial creeps, etc. in your stream community. Even if you just started streaming. Even if they sub to you. Even if you plan to tell them to stop once you grow. 1/4
- Replying to @eavlolThe goal is to build a strong community of trustworthy regulars who set the tone of your chat. They’ll know how to act, what to say, and rituals like inside jokes + copy pastas. Every new viewer sees how they interact w/ you and w/ one another, an important first impression. 2/4

But it all starts with putting the comfort and safety of yourself and your community first by building that backbone of core ppl, setting clear boundaries, and being firm with rules. 3/4
- Replying to @eavlolOnce you’ve set the precedent, it is MUCH harder to clean up a community. Similarly, when a streamer explodes in size, it can be really tough to keep chat’s vibes the same. Start building your community carefully early on to save yourself a lot of trouble down the road. 4/4

- Streamers: build a strong offline stream community for on stream success. One way to do this is following routines before and after every stream to recognize supporters, stay organized, and keep in touch with your community. I mostly use Discord/Twitch whispers, but you do you+
