261 other forms of bread in the house and my 7 yr old has to eat the hot dog bun sandwich when there has previously been a 1:1 bun:dog ratio and my ADHD brain is *REELING*
Hi! I’m 44, a Marine Corps vet and BJJ champion and I cry in my bed after therapy.
Dudes (and dude-identifying folks), don’t forget that it’s okay to talk about struggling and taking care of your mental health.
This may seem like an odd thing to celebrate to neurotypical folks, but for folks who deal with ADHD and/or depression like me, this will seem like sorcery:
For the past few weeks, I’ve been folding and putting away my laundry as soon as it comes out of the dryer.
“Yes, officer, I was screaming out the window and insulting him, and then I told him to pull over so I could assault him AND THEN HE POINTED A GUN AT ME CRY FOR ME I’M SUCH A VICTIM!!”
The employee is already budgeted for, so there’s no actual reason they can’t keep paying her other than because of a line on a spreadsheet. Expecting other employees to donate their time off for it is adding insult to injury.
I don’t know what I’m more shocked at: this party happening during a pandemic or sistas out here getting their hair wet and soapy when they know the city done closed all the hair salons.
Never accept the counter. It's not even a reputation thing - it's the confirmation that they *could* have given you the raise, but didn't think you were worth it until someone else recognized it.
I'm not here for that energy.
