Okay, I'm not trolling this time. I'm leaving Espresso (and going back to bright blonde hair).
I'm truly sad to leave. I deeply love the work I've done and the people I've worked with for the past 3+ years. I've grown so much as a person because of Espresso, and I am profoundly

We, as Ethereum, want to fix fragmentation. But what does that even mean? It means we have a unified ecosystem where applications can talk to each other as if they were on a single chain. 🧵
🌶️ Roast ERC-7786 🌶️
Myself, @frangio_, @charrcobb, and @sergey_nog (with @rudolf6_ facilitating) will publicly debate the value of ERC-7786 next Wednesday, April 16th.
We actively want the most blunt, brutal feedback about it, and we'll discuss it all next week. ⬇️
Inspired by @afrochicksnft, I’m working out everyday in September. Posting gym selfies is really, really not my jam, but I’m going to record it all on @grivapp on Farcaster because I’m trying new things. Here’s day 2 (the only day I’m posting on X).
More frequent batch posts to the L1 = faster, secure confirmations. Faster, secure confirmations =
1. More efficient use of liquidity due to reduced risk exposure window --> more volume bridged at a single time at (potentially) lower prices.
2. Faster withdrawal times to the
I've loved the time I've spent at Espresso, but it is time for a new chapter. Those at Espresso know I've been working on this for a while now. I will continue my work at Espresso, but I will be returning to my natural brunette hair, closing the era of my blonde hair.
After two years of R&D, five testnets & integration plans with >20 chains, we’re excited to announce the Espresso Network is now live on mainnet!
This launch is a major milestone, both for our team and along the path to making Ethereum composable again.

Personally, I strongly disagree with the meta of “You have to be built different to do X,” or “Doing X isn’t for everyone.” In actuality, almost everything in life is just a skill that can be learned.
I love hearing about people’s lives, so here’s how I ended up in crypto and working at @EspressoSys.
In my last year of college, I took a blockchain class just because I needed another elective to graduate. Turns out, I absolutely loved the class. (Which says a lot considering I
Proof aggregation needs a confirmation layer.
TL;DR of Vitalik's post:
• Let's use a 2/3 multi-proof (ZKPs, OPs, TEEs) for faster finality.
• Let's aggregate proofs to amortize L1 verification costs.
A confirmation layer:
1. Ensures these proofs are over the correct data.
Preconfs and shared sequencing are often talked about together, but they are two separate concepts. Shared sequencing (the umbrella based sequencing falls under) primarily aims to improve interoperability between chains. Preconfs aim to improve latency experienced by users.
