    My husband and I did long-distance for nearly 10 months. Across continents and time zones. We got married this July and neither of us cheated. So please, dead that narrative.

    I struggled with addiction and shame for many years. Yet I couldn't tell anyone about it. I didn't believe anyone would understand. For some reason, all the people who were open with their struggles, and they weren't so many, were guys.

    We met on Twitter. After tweeting about my experience at our church’s camp meeting, he slid into my DM for a follow up conversation. It was natural & fun, so we kept talking. We had our first date a couple of weeks later. From there, we fell in love. We’re getting married soon

    Dating someone for a whole year has been a pretty interesting ride. Having the best partner I could ever imagine has made it absolutely worth it and beautiful. I am looking forward to getting married because I trust his heart and love for me. It’s steady and committed.

    See, God can be trusted with your heart and journey towards romantic relationships. When my last relationship ended, I was so mad and hurt that I didn't think I could be vulnerable with somebody again. I was also afraid that I'd end up single for life. Nothing bad with that
