Following her visit to frontline Ebola response teams in DR Congo, @eu_echo Commissioner @hadjalahbib announced an additional €16.5 million in EU funding to strengthen diagnostics & surveillance, improve access to essential supplies & bolster support for healthcare workers.

The EU & @UNICEF are scaling up the Ebola response in eastern DR Congo. Through eight @eu_echo humanitarian flights , over 100 tonnes of medicines, protective equipment, infection-control supplies and emergency tents have been delivered. @EvaUNICEF , @UNICEFKenya @EUinKenya
