- Mrs May was told by MI6 that the 2016 Referendum EU leave vote was not free and fair because of Russian interference and money, and yet she Notified Article 50 rather than rerun the vote. Question: was May’s action unlawful , and could such a vote be used as the basis of Brexit ?
