    So our newest Fingal Mobile Library is fully stocked and all set to make its maiden voyage!😃 We've had a very exciting few days getting the new Mobile Library ready and it has now set off on its first journey through Fingal. Pop in and say hello! 😎

    On this day in 1930 the 'Southern Cross' took off from Portmarnock beach; 30 hours later it landed in Newfoundland; it was the 2nd ever east-west crossing of the Atlantic; 10,000 people watched the take-off, many on the hill of Howth.
