    The motion on annexation in Palestine has PASSED!! All parties supported!! I’m over the moon!! Ireland is the first country in the world to label Israel’s illegal settlements and land grab as a de facto annexation of Palestinian land. Thank you 🙏 🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸

    This happened in Ramallah today, a wonderful Palestinian city in the central West Bank located 10 km north of Jerusalem. I cried watching this 🥲 Ireland 🇮🇪 says thank you #Ramallah 🇵🇸🇵🇸🙏🙏 #Palestine

    Amazing! First the Seanad, now the Dáil: an overwhelming majority have voted for the Occupied Territories Bill 2018 and a ban on illegal #SettlementGoods! Ireland will always stand for international law + human rights, & we're one step closer to making history. Onwards 👍🇮🇪🇵🇸

    Incredible - the Occupied Territories Bill has just passed all stages in Seanad Éireann! Ireland can be the first EU country to end trade in illegal #SettlementGoods. It now goes to Dáil for agreement, & with such huge support we'll make this vital bill law! #solidarity 🇮🇪🇵🇸

    I met @RashidaTlaib in Washington in March to talk about our work. She's an incredible woman, a courageous fighter for justice & human rights. I have so much respect for her bravery & refusal to be silenced.. sending #solidarity to Rashida & her family in the occupied West Bank❤️

    The brutality, cruelty, and vindictiveness of Israeli occupation and apartheid, in life and in death. Day in day out. Nothing isolated about this. Anyone who denies such horrific realities for Palestinians are entirely morally bankrupt & racist.

    A 12yr old girl, born & raised her whole life in Galway, is set to be deported on Tuesday. Today is her birthday. How can we take a child from her friends & send her to a continent she's never even seen? This is heartbreaking & totally wrong

    Myself and my @SeanadCEG colleagues have written to Michéal Martin to ask him to join South Africa in charging Israel with Genocide at the International Court of Justice. It is not enough to passively call for a ceasefire.Ireland must take action to prevent the slaughter in Gaza
