- New rules just down from D.C. gov: * All nightclubs closed * Suspending all bar seating * Suspending service to standing patrons * Tables and booths must be 6 feet apart and occupied by 6 people or fewer

- Went to a patio in Navy Yard tonight, and shocked/disappointed in the number of people walking around without masks, especially those coming into restaurants without them. Shows a marked disrespect for the people working at those bars, and their families. Do better, people.
- Exciting/long-awaited news: 18th Street NW between Columbia and Kalorama roads is going to turn into a pedestrian zone one Sunday per month. Closure dates are Aug. 21, Sept. 4 and Oct. 23, between noon and 10 p.m. Zone will be operated by Adams Morgan BID.
