On this day in 1999, @stereophonics released their second studio album, Performance And Cocktails. Straight in at number 1 in the UK charts, its a fantastic album, I love the opening 2 tracks so much, Roll Up And Shine & The Bartender And The Thief.

On this day in 1995 @foofighters released their self titled debut album. Almost all performed by Dave Grohl while he was undecided on his musical future Remember being given the limited edition glow in the dark 12" record of This Is A Call, wish i'd kept that! What an album!

On this day in 2011, @foofighters released their seventh studio album, Wasting Light. Co produced by the band and @butchvig its a superb album that went back to their early sound! In at number 1 in both the UK and US charts. Superb!

This one will be a big memory for everyone aged 40. On this day in 1997, @Oasis released their third studio album, Be Here Now. So, what did you do that day, queue for the CD or get your GCSE results first? Stand By Me is a massive favourite of mine!

On this day in 1994, @blurofficial released their third studio album, Parklife Another album that was co produced by @StreetStephen who also features on synthesizer and effects, it was straight in at number 1. Such a classic!

On this day in 2023 @blurofficial released their ninth studio album, The Ballad of Darren. Their first album since The Magic Whip in 2015, it was great to see them back! UK #1 but also top of the charts in Switzerland, Scotland, Ireland & Belgium!

Happy Birthday to Leisure, the debut studio album from @blurofficial released on this day in 1991. In at number 7 in the UK album charts but included my favourite song There's No Other Way. A proper anthem for the band!
