It is insane to me what governments will try to get away with. This one’s a doozy… A city in Michigan, Southfield, seized a woman’s home for a $900 past due property tax, which ended up being over $22k with penalties and interest. In an attempt to bypass a previous Supreme

Update: My son, who was the only one in his college history class to not wear a mask after the professor asked them all to do so, told me today that about 1/3 of the class is no longer wearing masks. This is the way.

Compared to the 2023 season, the Indiana Fever (Caitlin Clark’s team), the avg home attendance is up from 4,067 to 16,571 per game, a 300% increase. The Chicago Sky (Angel Reese) have gone from 7,242 to 8,248, a 14% increase. Caitlin is driving attendance; Angel not so much.

What’s something that’s no longer enjoyable after the madness of the past few years? For me it’s eating out. The quality of the food doesn’t seem as good, the service is worse, and it’s significantly more expensive.
