You're not supposed to have it figure out yet. I'm more than a decade in with three kids and I still don't have it figured out. The best advice I can give you is: be 100% present in the thing that you're choosing in that moment. 100% dad or 100% builder, not 50/50 both.

97% down is not “way” down. It’s closer to zero than any other word to describe it. Guess what happened when they stopped making the old Tesla Model Y… they kept selling a shitload of them. There’s no way this was the plan for Jaguar.

We always required trying bites (five bites for five years etc) and then if they refuse AFTER that they have one option: go make your own PBJ. Now they always eat whatever we make, provide positive feedback, and have lots of favorites that they “hated” when they were three.
