- USU’s Neemias Queta has been named MW Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year by a select group of media that cover the MW. CSU’s Niko Medved is Coach of the Year; Nevada’s Grant Sherfield is Newcomer of the Year; Wyoming’s Marcus Williams is Freshman of the Year.
- Former Sky View and BYU runner Conner Mantz, a Smithfield native, just finished 4th in the Boston Marathon. His best finish in a marathon and the top American. It was also his best time ever in a marathon.
- USU MBB: Aggies celebrate their 13th straight win with a court rush.
- USU MBB: Christmas was very kind to the Aggies. Guard Drake Allen is back practicing. Originally out for 4-6 weeks with a shoulder injury, he is a maybe for Saturday’s game at No. 20 San Diego State.
- USU MBK: Neemias Queta is returning to play his sophomore year for the Aggies. He is withdrawing his name from the NBA draft. Exciting news for Aggie fans to get the big man back for at least another year.
- USU MBK: Aggies stay perfect. Final in Jamaica, No. 15 Utah State 80, LSU 78. Sam Merrill with game-winning 3-point shot with less than a minute to play.
- USU MBB: Was just told that Aggie head coach Jerrod Calhoun was with the team when it landed in Logan this afternoon.
