Jewish settlers have uprooted or burned over a million olive trees in Palestine since 1967. Many of the trees were centuries old. - Please do not dampen the joy of the Palestinians at the news of the ceasefire. They know better than you that it will be difficult and that peace will be fragile and could break at any moment. Let them feel happy because the slaughter will stop.
