NEW POLL: New York State voters, especially Democrats, aren’t being represented by their senators. In April, the US Senate voted on resolutions to block President Trump’s delivery of 2,000-pound bombs and bulldozers to Israel. 40 Senators – all Democrats – voted in favor. 7

BREAKING: For the first time in US history there will be a vote in Congress to block weapons to Israel. Sending Israel weapons is a violation of US law and opposed by a majority of Americans, who are sick of seeing their tax dollars fund Israel’s war crimes against Palestinians.

Today, with colleagues, I introduced legislation to block arms sales to Israel. Sending more weapons to Netanyahu's extremist government is immoral & illegal: U.S. weapons are responsible for far too many civilian casualties in Gaza. We must end our complicity in this atrocity.

FEMA said last week it faces a nearly $9 billion shortfall for Hurricane Helene recovery efforts. On the same day, Israel announced a $8.7 billion weapons package from the US. Our tax dollars are funding Israeli war crimes instead of the investments we desperately need here.

President Biden said in March his red line for Israel was the invasion of Rafah. The Israeli military invaded Rafah, and he still sent more and more weapons to Israel. Now the Israeli military is invading the West Bank.
