- J.K. Rowling’s “thoughts” on periods and trans people are appalling. Activists have tirelessly fought for the necessary visibility and inclusion of trans folks in period conversations. Trying to diminish and erase our trans people isn’t feminism, it’s bigotry.
- my current daily routine: 8:30am - coffee, breakfast, journaling 9:30am - change into day pajamas after 10am - ALL OF THIS IS A BLUR 5pm - change into workout pajamas 5:15pm - yoga then shower 7pm - change into night pajamas after 7:30pm - ALL OF THIS IS A BLUR
- i just learned kraft mac & cheese was invented during the great depression to provide people with a nonperishable meal in one package. tbh i’m hoping someone, somewhere is developing another processed, comforting delight for us during this pandemic. we need it 🧀
- I just saw a man eating a plain bagel with cream cheese and jam (respectable) and then... HE DIPPED IT IN HIS COFFEE (?!?!?!!!!!) I’m equal parts horrified and intrigued
- Replying to @ingridnilsenPeriods have ALWAYS been focused on white, middle to upper class cis women. To come in and cry “WHAT ABOUT ME?!?!” as a rich white lady is ridiculous. IT’S NOT ABOUT YOU BECAUSE IT’S ALWAYS BEEN ABOUT YOU. THAT IS THE POINT.
- My heart is RACING because an actual dream has come true: MY FIRST EVER BY-LINE IN THE @nytimes!!!! As of today, I’m DONE with apologizing for how I look during quarantine. Who’s with me? 🙋♀️
- Replying to @ingridnilsenSorry J.K. Rowling. You, as the dominant force in this dynamic do not get to have an “opinion” on the right for trans people to exist. Your “opinion” is discrimination and transphobia, no matter how many queer people you try to align yourself with.
- I wish I could just wear a reversible sign that says “hug” or “don’t hug” so I could flip it depending on my mood and save myself from all the hug related anxiety
