- Replying to @iamharaldurWhen my offspring were teenagers (last century 😂) their peers had a game of, “your boyfriend can only have 2”. Smart, funny, good looking or rich. Always a lot of discussion among the friend group but girls inevitably picked “smart & funny”.
- ACT’s gun policy fucking terrifies me. Knowing the govt is definitely going to make it easier to own a gun “because you have the right to protect yourself” is the worst thing that could possibly happen to this country. If you’re not worried about this, you fucking well should be.
- I love how IKEA tells you how many screws, bibs n’ bobs you should have left over that you should discard. Mate, I’m a NZer. We don’t throw out perfectly good odd screws. We keep them in a jar for just in case. They’re for the estate cleaners to throw out when we’re dead.

- Oh my gosh y’all! I just spoke to the pharmacist and the locum pharmacist is going to drive all the way out here to deliver my meds. It’s a 45km trip out of her way! And she even offered to go to the supermarket for me if I needed anything. (I don’t). Kindness. Pure kindness.
