    Some personal news: Last month, while Davis and I were taking in the beauty of Banff National Park, we decided to nix our original engagement plans, buy cheap rings at a shop in Banff, and propose to one another at Lake Louise. It was unplanned and intimate and perfect ❤️

    Bro, just come skiing with me. Lift tickets cost $150 per day and you can rent skis for another $50 and you can get a lesson for another $120. It’s so fun and your risk of injury is so high. C’mon bro, you won’t feel your hands & you’ll get sunburn on your face. Bro.

    Ending all my meetings by saying "bye ladies!" regardless of the gender of folks in the room. Not sure what the big deal is. I just think that the term ladies, colloquially, is a gender-neutral term.

    I love my fiance, I can't wait to marry him, and I am glad that he wants to be involved in planning our wedding. However, from a project management perspective (e.g., budget, timeline, creating an event that is both legal & possible), I would like to remove him from the project.

    If I ever become pregnant, I'm going to throw a gender reveal party and reveal that gender is a social construct. I will have slides, and there will be a quiz.

    Four years ago, my boyfriend invited me to a weekly competitive crossword game with his NASA engineer colleagues. Every week on Monday nights, I have quietly joined, beat them all by a considerable margin, and left. It has been the highlight of my week every week for years.

    This is... a mannequin of an average-sized person wearing clothes that work with their body. Tons of people have this body shape, and that's fine. "Obesity" is a body size--a calculation of weight divided by height--not a disease. And not something to be ashamed of.
