- this is a great time to say that the windrush era did also involve west africans - especially nigerians and ghanaians. though i blame schools for people not knowing this because the erasure was crazy.I agree. They come here and disdain the black diaspora. And even once they’ve made their money, they invest it back home. Not recognising the reason they can live safely and prosper abroad is because of the selfless groundwork laid by the windrush and earlier diasporas.

- thank goodness someone’s said it. it’s never been my place so i don’t talk about it often, but the way Caribbean and Latin American women *especially* are fetishised, actually makes me sick.Can we treat people from the Caribbean, Latin America, Thailand etc as actual humans please?
