- we all know how important LLM evaluation is.. 🤔 i’m excited to FINALLY announce that we are starting a new 📢 recipe-based evals team!!! 📢 for our first study, we compared 5 LLM-generated chili recipes with the prompt: “Give me a chili recipe with an interesting twist” (1/n)

- 🎉 exciting news 🎉 the Amazon-Berkeley Objects dataset for 3D object understanding just got a license upgrade! we dropped the commercial use restrictions and transitioned to a more permissive CC-BY license, making the dataset more accessible for industry use!

- serving as a judge for the ✨great LLM bakeoff✨ the prompt was “Give me a blueberry muffin recipe, with a unique twist!”
- it has been super exciting to watch the progression of this project by some really smart people in my lab at berkeley! learning to extract 3d mesh & texture from 2d images!! no 3d supervision involved! whaaaaat?!?
- today was the first day of my PhD!!! 🎉 here's to a long-and-hopefully-wonderful-and-not-too-miserable life journey!!
