In crypto markets, as in all markets, you don't get rich by following the herd. If you liked btc at $15k, you should love it at $6k.

No, your company/project doesn't need its own native cryptocurrency. If you aren't experts in the business of distributed systems innovation, your token is just adding noise. See how the existing crypto networks can work for you. Stop cluttering the field.

I just finished a deep dive into Zether, a novel cryptocurrency protocol from researchers at Stanford and Visa. I am blown away with the work they have done. crypto.stanford.edu/~buenz/papers/… /1

"If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry." - Satoshi Nakamoto, July 29, 2010 Sometimes you have to pursue your own vision without letting yourself get bogged down convincing all the doubters.

I understand the crypto euphoria, but now more than ever is the time to be patient with your buys. Dollar cost average, friends.

If your token has gate keepers, an entity holding > 50% of the supply or making decisions on behalf of the network, then it's not a cryptoasset. It's a gift card.

1/ The Monero team will soon be changing its proof-of-work consensus algorithm in late October to RandomX. The Monero developer team believes that in order for the network to remain secure, ASICs must be kept off the network.

Improving scalability without sacrificing decentralization is the current holy grail in crypto. The project that first cracks this nut will be worth trillions. So far DAG and dPoS projects have made *zero* progress on this front.

1/ I dove into a new crypto protocol, ZEXE. It’s an exciting, if early, spec for a private distributed execution environment capable of expressive applications. The paper is a collaboration of researchers from UC Berkeley, Johns Hopkins, Zcash and Cornell. eprint.iacr.org/2018/962.pdf
