- Replying to @aarolston and @jonoaldersonDo you have any idea how common it is for there to be 1-3 people maintaining something that millions of websites depend on? Unfortunately, too many.
- IF WP Engine was blocked from being able to access WordPress.org for core, theme, and plugin updates, that's a terrible move because it makes thousands of people victims of a situation that they likely have no idea about and is out of their control.
- Hey y'all. I got some great news. I am no longer unemployed. I signed a job offer today. The role was created with my talents in mind. I'll be leveraging my skills and relationships in this role in the WordPress space. I'm excited and looking forward to jumping in head first.

- Today is step one on my journey to sobriety. I never thought I’d be an alcoholic but here we are. Quitting cold turkey and my wife is going to be hellbent on keeping me accountable.
- During his WCUS presentation, Matt described how extracting value and not giving enough back in return is a threat to WordPress. I think this “heist” of ACF is him proving his point. Essentially extracting years and years of ACF’s work without giving anything back.

- I’m concerned by how this will potentially impact everyone's ability to sell/pitch WordPress and VIP to clients. I doubt any of us wants to be in a situation where we have to explain what’s going on to a potential client. Any suggestions on how to go about this?
- Wellp, been off the booze for about a month and a half, closer to two months. Drastically reduced my intake of soda as well. I'm down 35 pounds, sleeping better, and spending more time being alive than a zombie stuck in bed. Most of all, I'm back to being my wife's teammate.
