    Interesting thanks, but can we really comment on misunderstandings relating to comparisons between vaccines while ignoring the elephant in the room: Relative v Absolute risk reduction? The vaccines are being pushed on the former while apparently nobody dare speak of the latter.

    I have been asked to explain, in a nutshell, why I and my fellow travelers appear to be less worried about the virus than the vaccine, when for everyone else it is the other way around. Here is the simplest explanation I can think of. 1/

    I know a lot of people vaccinated against covid, and a lot who declined the kind offer from our governments. Uniformly, all the people who still fear covid are vaccinated. None of the unvaccinated fear it. According to government narrative on the "safe and effective"

    The Pfizer phase 3 trial resulted in a 0.8% absolute risk reduction for symptomatic Covid in a cohort representing the bulk of the population. Can anyone explain how this could ever have had an effect on the epidemic curves, especially given viral evolution to other strains?

    Deaths too low - test people in hospital to find hospitalisations. Not enough hospitalisations - test people in the community to find cases. Not enough cases - try the variant scam. Variants not doing it - how about wading through shit looking for it?

    Today I notified the local secretary of my local constituency Conservative Party that I was resigning from the Party. I did not vote Conservative to usher in authoritarian medical apartheid, nor a neo-Communist state aping China. @Conservatives
