It is unbelievably devastating that this program is being axed. If enrolment is low, promote it and expand it. Cutting programs that connect kids while promoting athleticism makes ZERO sense. My Dad is rolling in his grave.
Students are better served when programs like this one can be relied upon to create connection, athleticism and confidence outside the classroom. Low enrolment is an opportunity to reach more kids not a reason to give up on them.
