- The BBC is running a story about how some people have fallen out of love with the NHS. This is thinly-disguised propaganda for privatisation. Beware.
- Listening to Michel Barnier, I cannot help thinking that the quality of EU politicians is head and shoulders above that of those in the UK.
- If I look at the Opposition benches in the HoC, I see mainly good people. When I look at the Tory benches ? I am repulsed. Anybody else ?
- Is it is time we re-introduced convalescent homes for people who need recovery time after operations or other debilitating treatments ? This would largely remove the whole bed-blocking mess, free up hospital lists and move people through the NHS much more quickly. Discuss.
- Keir Starmer may not be shouty enough for some, but he'll run a decent competent compassionate administration which puts the country & the people first. Guaranteed. That'll do for me as a new beginning & a hope for the future. Just contrast that with what we have now. I dare you.
- I turned on BBC this morning to see a Reform spokesman, and so turned to ITV. Another one ! WTF is wrong with these media outlets ? !! Absolute insanity.
- My grandson has just been to see me. He is emigrating to Vancouver, where his girlfriend is. I told him that if I were a young person, I would get out of this shit-hole and never look back. It will take 50 years to put right what the Tories have destroyed in 12 short years.
- Just to be clear, the original great success of the vaccination programme was down to the NHS and an army of volunteers. Same with the current booster programme. Don't let the Tories hi-jack it.
- Angela Rayner was correct. These Tories really are scum.
