    Exactly this. Disney's argument is that a corporation can make a contract with someone, then launder it through a second corporation, at which point it no longer needs to uphold the obligations of the contract. Amazing stuff. #DisneyMustPay

    The comparison made was that if they are allowed to do this, it could mean any company could sell works they had contracted to a sibling company and thus rid themselves of the pesky need to pay the creator they had contracted with.

    The @49ers won a significant tax victory, successfully appealing in getting the the tax on Levi's Stadium cut 50%. That means an immediate $31 mil refund, and $6 mil lower tax bill each year. the county said this will cause a big cut in educational funding

    To image a black hole they needed half a ton of hard drives containing five petabytes of data. The fastest way to transfer that data? Airplane. An airplane data transfer from Mauna Kea to Massachusetts would have a data rate of roughly 14GB per second.
