- 21% of STEM grad students and 10% of total grad students @LifeAtPurdue are Chinese nationals. Given work visa program changes, they are unlikely to find a job in the U.S. That means Purdue is training the workforce of a foreign adversary. Indiana must stop this. For @indystar:
- BREAKING: @AndrewIrelandIN is the first state representative to come out against the state & local tax breaks for data centers. He represents Franklin township, which is a target for a Google data center.Taxpayers shouldn’t subsidize Google. If a trillion-dollar corporation needs a handout to build here in Franklin Township, then that’s not the free market it's corporate welfare. Now, they need to formally vote the same way on Sept 22. - Wondering why so many data centers are coming to Indiana? Here are three big ones: 1. A 2019 sales tax break on electricity and equipment 2.
