I love overhearing dog owners talking to their dogs eg, I was petting this dog who seemed happy but then suddenly growled at me, so I left As I turned the corner I could hear his owner saying to him reproachfully, "You always do this, Oscar, you drive away all your friends"

Aquarium rewards dolphins w/a fish if they bring a piece of litter or dead gull (to help keep pool clean) One dolphin starts (1) tearing pieces of litter into smaller pieces & trading each piece in for a reward & (2) stockpiling fish to lure & kill gulls

I'm excited MIT is trying this: A master's in development economics that doesn't require a degree, GRE, or letters of recommendation. Admission's just based on how well you do on 5 online courses. Should make it easier for talented ppl from poor countries. wbur.org/edify/2017/07/…
