    It’s exactly a year since my open heart surgery. A year of deep reflection and a lot of gratitude. The scars remind me of my resilience and fortitude. Scars of victory! And if I can survive this, YOU can survive ANYthing! I’m grateful to God for this testimony! #OHS #ZipperClub

    My friend’s son did a Masters and ACCA after graduating. Problem is, they are now 26, no work experience and overqualified for entry level positions. They are as qualified as their potential bosses. Tricky.

    Kale exactly 4 weeks ago.. I was on the surgeon’s table undergoing complex heart surgery.. Woke up after 30 hours. Was in ICU/HDU for 4 days.. ...and now, here I am celebrating another birthday. Kyoka Mukama!

    Mission ACCOMPLISHED! It has been 13 years of constant growth.. breaking barriers..amplifying African voices on the biggest stage…going into spaces that would otherwise never be explored. I’m grateful for the opportunity to have worked at the BBC. It’s been transformative.

    The son is off to Uni. He decided a long time ago that it’d be the arts for him. Science and what not was too much of a struggle. A Levels- he only did subjects he enjoyed. No pressure. He picked a uni course he’d enjoy. At an incredibly artsy uni where everyone looks
